Imalytics Preclinical has been used in many preclinical studies focusing on the effect of different diets, treatments, or genetic engeneering, because of its easy fat segmentation workflow. For example, one single µCT scan can be used to perform fast and automatic fat segmentation. Additionally, visceral (green) and subcutaneous (blue) fat can be distinguished and fat/body-ratios could be calculated. Recently, a workflow for the segmentation of brown adipose tissue was developed.
