Grace File Format (GFF)

At Gremse-IT, we've created the Grace File Format (GFF) to simplify multimodal imaging data management. GFF is open-source and supports any imaging modality, including CT, PET, SPECT, US, and MRI. This GFF format enables researchers to store multimodal images in a single format while reducing file size with lossless compression, preserving quality. This format also ensures data integrity with cryptographic hashing and optional saving timestamps. By removing file-format bottlenecks, GFF lets researchers focus on what truly matters: advancing biomedical imaging research. ๐Ÿ“ฉ Questions? ๐ŸŽ… Christmas holidays 2024 ๐ŸŽ…

This holiday season, the Gremse-IT family celebrated across two continents with two great experiences! Our German team headed to Maastricht, Netherlands, where they explored the historic Fort Sint Pieter, solved puzzles, and wrapped up the day with a stroll through the charming Vrijthof Christmas Market and a cozy dinner. Meanwhile, our Montreal team gathered for a dinner filled with good food, great conversations, and plenty of holiday cheer. Although miles apart, the Gremse-IT family came together to celebrate another fantastic year. Happy Holidays from all of us at Gremse-IT!

Cosmodome de Laval

The holiday season is in the air, and we had the pleasure of attending the Holiday Cocktail hosted by Biotech City and BIOQuebec held at the iconic Cosmodรดme de Laval. This was our very first event after officially joining the association this summer and it was great to connect with other innovative companies right here in Quรฉbec! We're thrilled to be part of such a vibrant community and are looking forward to attending more events in the future.

๐Ÿ’ก Spotlight: Dosimetry Tool ๐Ÿ’ก

We're excited to highlight one of the newer features of our ImalyticsPreclinical software โ€“ the Dosimetry Tool. Dosimetry, the quantitative assessment of ionizing radiation dose absorbed by matter, is an important component in the development of radiopharmaceuticals for both diagnostic imaging and targeted radiotherapy. Our tool provides researchers with precise, voxel-based internal dose assessment tools, enabling our users to assess novel radiopharmaceutical toxicity, enhance insights pertaining to biodistribution, and improve comparative assessment. Check out the publication of Dr. Carolyn Anderson and her team who have been utilizing our Dosimetry Tool to advance their groundbreaking research. They discovered that 89Zr- and 177Lu-L804-IAB2MA may be a promising theranostic pair for imaging and therapy of prostate cancer ๐Ÿ”ฌ.

๐Ÿ’ก Spotlight: The Scribble Tool ๐Ÿ’ก

We are excited to highlight a feature of our Imalytics software, the Scribble Tool. Given the importance of segmentation in any analysis workflow, we are on a mission to simplify this process for our users! While the most common method of isolating ROIs is a lengthy process of drawing slice by slice, the scribble tool enables an interactive method of delineating region boundaries in just a few slices. Once some "scribbles" are drawn in 2D, our software interpolates a 3D wireframe, and connects the region to form a class. The segmentation can also be adjusted incrementally, allowing Imalytics` users to perfect their analysis. Through a shallow learning approach, our software learns the segmentation from the user's input. Here's an example of the scribble tool in action, displayed on a CT of a mouse spleen.
